Pathology Testing

Functional pathology testing offers me way to see how your body is functioning. I often request pathology to help determine hormone levels with clients who may be experiencing fatigue (saliva profile or blood), in fertility (hormonal profile) through to ongoing digestive complaint or check levels before starting supplementation. It also helps determine where we go with your treatment protocol and allows tracking if you feel inclined.

As a Naturopath, there are many different forms of testing available for us to examine your current state of health. They may include, but are not limited to:

• Adrenal Hormone Profile

• Comprehensive Digestive and Stool Analysis – CDSA

• Female & Male Hormone Profiles

• Nutrient Profiles such as: Iron, Magnesium, Zinc, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D

• MTHFR

• Kryptopyrrole

• Heavy Metal - HTMA

• DNA

• Food Intolerance and allergy Testing

Blood testing may be carried out at your local Pathology collection centre. 

Other tests such as saliva, stool and urine can usually be collected safely in the comfort of your own home with a provided kit.

Routine testing such as iron studies may be covered by Medicare if arranged through your General Practitioner. Otherwise, I can order them directly for you for a nominal fee.
